Watch Slava 3036 USSR / 1989 / new from storage

A rare watch, Glory 3036 of the USSR, is dedicated to the summit in Malta, issued to the participants in the meeting of Mikhail Gorbachev and George W. Bush, the meeting took place on December 2-3, 1989 with the final proclamation of the end of the Cold War. The inscription on the dial: Navy Slava and UBN Belknap are related to the Slava missile carrier and the US Navy cruiser Belknap, which provided security for the event. The watch has a quartz movement and is in perfect condition - it has never been used before, new from old stocks.
